THE GROWN VISION
As animal lovers and with a Vet nurse being part of the GROWN team, we are excited and extremely proud to help give the gift of life through our newest giving partner, WIRES. It is an honour to be able to support the organization on their selfless journey through the GROWN Vision™.

How We Help Give the Gift of Life
Through our giving partner WIRES, and with your support, GROWN helps by directly funding the care and nutritional requirements for an orphaned or injured Australian animal for up to 16 weeks! With every pair purchased, Grown will fully fund the nutritional requirements for a wallaby joey for two weeks, an orphaned kangaroo or wombat for seven days, a brushtail possum for two months or a baby ringtail possum for four months.

Why Wildlife?
Australia is home to some of the most beautiful and wonderfully unique animals in the world. Sadly, thousands of these animals are being killed, orphaned and/or injured through the effect of humans each year. Due to an increasing number of hit by car traumas, domestic dog and cat attacks, fruit netting and fishing line entanglements, power-line electrocution and general loss of habitat, many animals require rescuing and care. WIRES consists of a co-ordinated group of selfless volunteers who work tirelessly to balance the unnatural depletion of wildlife by raising and rehabilitating them, returning as many as possible back into their natural environment. With many native Australian animals being endangered, the significance of this cause is undeniable.
About Our Giving Partner
WIRES was established in 1985, when an injured Ibis was found in the heart of Sydney, in Hyde Park. No organisation, government or conservation group could take responsibility for its rescue or care and the rest is history! In 1992, over 14,000 rescues were conducted and in 2009 alone WIRES rescued more than 75,000 animals in distress. There are currently more than 2,000 WIRES volunteers which rescue, rehabilitate and release wildlife and the demand is growing.
